Robert "Bob" Polino, Sr. passed away leaving behind a legacy of dedication, resilience, and joy. Born in Riverside, NJ, to Joseph and Louise Polino, Bob carried with him the values of family, hard work, and kindness throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Rutgers University, Bob devoted 31 years to his career as a teacher in Burlington Twp. He has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students. Some of which he was still in contact with before his passing.
Bob faced profound heartbreak with the premature loss of his beloved wife, Trudy. Yet even in his grief, his capacity for love endured. He was blessed to find love again with his partner, Laurie Hentrich, with whom he shared 17 wonderful years. Together they built a life filled with companionship, laughter, travel, and unwavering devotion. He cherished Laurie's children and grandchildren, embracing them as his own. Laurie remained faithfully by his side until his last breath.
He loved listening to his "Oldies", dancing, time on the golf course, day trips to the racetrack, and always looked forward to seeing his old friends from Burlington Twp.
Bob leaves behind his brother, Joseph Polino, his best friend and confidant; his beloved partner Laurie; his son Robert Polino (Shaun); his daughter Meghan Polino; his cherished nieces and nephews; his friends; and his best furry friend, Honey, who will miss him dearly.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, his generous heart, and his deep love for his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him.
